a study in a metal mechanical industry

The interference of human beings on the environment has caused negative impacts, increasing discussions about actions aimed at balancing environmental preservation, improving social conditions and maintaining positive economic and financial performance, seeking not to compromise quality of life. of the current and future population of the planet. This aims to verify the behavior of a metal mechanic industry in relation to the economic, environmental and social conducts adopted based on the ECT-Triple model of Abreu et al. (2008). For this, there is a descriptive research, field and quantitative study. To carry out this research, questionnaires with closed and open questions with 32 employees (employees) from a metal mechanic industry were used to collect the collected data. The results indicate that the analyzed company has a triple performance, proposed by Abreu et al. (2008), due to its economic, environmental and social activities, and the analysis of these indicators allowed to identify the strategic positioning in relation to the company's social and environmental actions, verifying the effect of its strategic actions on the economic and financial result.
