Abstract

The Anti-Crime Law provides some measures to combat it, which present serious violence and are directly linked to corruption and organized crime. From some episodes that occurred in the national scene, the subject of self-defense by security agents became prominent, under the perspective of the new law which legitimizes the lawfulness of such actions. Based on the recent law, this article seeks to analyze the defense of lawfulness in the case of self-defense by security agents, and to analyze the need to include this new single paragraph in the 25th Article of the penal code. Taking into consideration all the legal aspects already included and analyzed in cases where there is self-defense.
