The Covid-19 pandemic caused numerous changes in cooperative organizations, imposing a set of new realities on the markets, given that many organizations found themselves dependent on certain marketing channels, which were affected by the health crisis. This article aims to analyze the performance of family farming cooperatives in the state of Bahia in the markets during the pandemic period. To this end, this work was based on a survey of 14 cooperatives spread across eight Identity Territories in the state and distributed across 11 municipalities, which took place in two stages: application of a questionnaire and “Virtual Dialogue Circles” with the directors of the cooperatives. The results demonstrate that cooperatives were affected by the pandemic, but, to some extent, they sought to create and adapt economic, social and technological strategies to overcome the challenges imposed by the closure of many marketing channels.
