School teaching on the Contestado Movement has been superficial historically, incorrect or even non-existent. However, new and creative experiences have been contributing to the expansion of knowledge about it, promoting regional identities. An interdisciplinary teaching methodology on the Contestado is presented, by didactic material Memory Box. This it was conceived, which was presented to other educators through a workshop. The results were obtained from the report of educators who applied the methodology in the classroom. There was an intense awakening of attention and generation of expectations in the students before the presentation of the content. The Memory Box can be used not only for teaching the Contestado, but also for rescuing family and ancestral memories. This approximation of the teacher's relationship with his students brings an enchantment to the classroom, opening a fundamental transdisciplinary space for patrimonial education and citizenship.
