Profile of the offending teenagers in the municipality of Canoinhas/SC in the years 2019, 2020 and 2021

Abstract

This article aims to describe the profile of adolescent offenders in the city of Canoinhas/SC. With the collected data, it is sought to verify the incidence of the criminal practice, the age, the gender of the offender and the application of socio-educational measures for the Provision of Services to the Community and Assisted Freedom, adopted to repress the infractions committed in the judicial sphere with the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance - CREAS, in the years 2019, 2020 and 2021. The analysis was carried out from the collection of data granted by CREAS and aims to inform crime rates among the population between 12 and 18 years old and the application of the Child and Adolescent Statute and other relevant legislation that regulates socio-educational measures in Brazil.
