Abstract

Considering the pandemics that have affected humanity, the issue of the terminality of life and respect for the dignity of the human person in this final moment arises. In this context, it is necessary to analyze the phenomenon of the right to a dignified death and the factors and implications that surround it. For this purpose, the deductive method was used, with bibliographic research technique. It was found that the large-scale occurrence of mythanasia as the main indignity factor at the end of life in times of pandemic, and when they become patients, legislation and medical practices seek to bring a suffering-free death to the patient, from in order to guarantee a dignified death, as the autonomy of the will to achieve this right is not always observed.
