Abstract

This research aims to relate Law and Music, trying to demonstrate possible reflections on legal issues through artistic expression. Art is deeply linked to society, being a democratic and also contradictory means of communication. From the artistic expression, it is possible to observe in a broad way the way in which the problems dealt with by the legal world reflect on society. Art is engaged with social issues and one of its many ramifications is music. Music, in turn, is capable of reflecting the social reality from the various factors in which it is inserted. Several musical genres are born from the need to express a vision through other eyes, and it is from this that the present research intends to deepen the way in which the problems dealt with by law reflect in the music scene, bringing to the debate the need to reflect law beyond traditional forms, thus drawing a parallel between art in the form of music and the importance of its reflexive critical vision for law.
