Management strategies of a credit cooperative resulting from financial and economic evaluation (2013 to 2017)

The present study deals with the management and strategic priorities of a solidarity-based credit cooperative on account of the evaluation of economic and financial performance. The study recognizes the importance of the cooperative's strategic management, given its corporate performance, in the cooperative businesses in which the cooperatives operate, partly through performance and economic-financial performance. In this sense, the objective of the study is to propose strategic and management priorities in a solidarity interaction credit cooperative considering the evaluation of economic and financial performance (2013 to 2017), aiming at sustainability. For this purpose, descriptive research was used, with a case and field study and with a historical, quanti-qualitative approach, using document analysis, direct observation, and participatory research. The results of the study carried out present suggestions for strategic management priorities for strengthening the cooperative, qualifying management and governance, future sustainability and continuous improvement, and potential contributions to sustainable territorial development.
