This paper aims to evaluate UFJF's interaction with society, through the analysis of the interactions of its Research Groups with companies, public authorities and civil society organizations. The method used was field research, through a survey, with the participation of 74 Research Groups from UFJF. The most relevant results indicate that UFJF's main interactions are related to other research institutions, followed by interaction with civil society organizations and public authorities. It appears that interaction with companies is still incipient. The positive point is that the resistance to interact with companies represents less than 25% of the respondents, which provides the possibility of expanding these interactions.
