Relationship between the use of framework Scrum and obtaining a competitive advantage

The article proposes to analyze the possible relationship between the use of the Scrum tool and the obtaining of competitive advantage in a company specialized in consultancy and development of solutions to the technologies, denominated in the article of Alfa. The choice of an agile project management methodology was due to the fact that the globalized business environment is increasingly competitive and volatile with regard to clients' needs / desires, and these methodologies are capable of allowing greater adaptability of projects to variations; maintaining an active participation of customers; minimize risks; and; ensure market satisfaction. To meet the objective, an explanatory and interventionist research methodology was used, whose data collection was done in bibliographies, documents, through the application of a closed questionnaire, participant observation and analysis of managerial reports. The data were analyzed using non-statistical methods based mainly on the experiences and critical analyzes. From the information obtained, it was verified that the company Alfa obtained a competitive advantage related mainly to its image in the market, which was strengthened and anchored in a vision of a company that delivers a current product, able to meet the real need of the customer.
