The sharenting phenomenon and child and adolescent data protection

The present artic aims to discuss the protection of Children and Adolescents in the light of the General Data Protection Law and the Statute of Children and Adolescents, highlighting civil responsibilities for the practice of Sharenting and parental abuse. Excessive practice and exaggeration in sharing children's private actions can impose consequences on legal guardians. It follows that from this practice all the data exposed there will be recorded forever on the computer network, and this information may cause future impacts and a certain embarrassment for future young people and adults, in the face of shared images or comments made. The research method used in the present work is characterized as a bibliographic research. Regarding the approach to the problem, the typology was qualitative, the research was descriptive and regarding the objectives, the research is classified as explanatory.The methodology used was the deductive method, with bibliographic and documental research, based on the consultation of articles, legislation.
