Abstract

Family institutions are the basis of any society and, with time of change, like any area. In this, given that the concept of family has been changing in recent years, the present work seeks to understand the dating contract, identifying the challenges facing family law. Thus, the general objective refers to the discussion about the legal implications brought by the dating contract, initially clarifying the concept of family today, as well as the understanding of contracts in the context of family law, so that a analysis of the dating contract from the point of view of Brazilian justice. This article starts from the research approach method, through qualitative research, which seeks to work on meanings, ideas and resources related to the theme, using the bibliographic research modality, so that a theoretical basis on the topic is constituted. In this way, the base of studies was structured in articles, books and scientific texts published. Thus, after a literary analysis, it was possible to perceive the selected studies that the dating contract is an invalid legal business in the face of the Brazilian legal system.
