The fight against discent absentism promoted by the Public Ministry in the Command of Papanduva in 2019

The purpose of this study was to investigate how the Public Prosecutor's Office tackled the problem of student absenteeism in the Papanduva County, during 2019. To do so, the right to education, which is fundamental and essential for personal, economic and social, together with the guidelines and tutelage contained in the Federal Constitution and Laws 8.069 / 90 and 9.394 / 96. Then, the structure and attributions of the Public Ministry, its role as guardian of the right to education and the functioning of the APOIA program, the main system used by parquet in cases involving school absenteeism, were analyzed. Afterwards, APOIA statistical data related to the Papanduva County was used, with information on the methods, motivations and success rate, culminating in a better perspective on the effectiveness of the program and the performance of the Public Ministry. The methodology used was the inductive method, through qualitative and quantitative analysis, with bibliographic research, survey and analysis of statistical data.
