In this work, it appears that, for Ricoeur, a relationship between conscience and law becomes a determinant of his ethics. The author discusses the harmful effects of a lack of mediation between law and conscience, and draws our attention to the tragic character of the action, dramatically enshrined by Antigone. This resistance is caused by the example of the conflict of resistance of resistance as well, of the message of resistance and of the application of resistance – an act that is not limited to mere transgression. On the other hand, those of deontological ethics and pure casuistry are at stake, which are thinking about reflecting: Respect for the law or respect for people?
Keywords: Ricoeur; Kant; conscience; law; moral judgment in situation.
