Abstract

Thinking about medical science in a universe of human, social and political implications from a philosophical perspective implies understanding power relations. When finding them, one also finds philosophers like Deleuze and Foucault, who in such aberrant way, revealed the reality of the disease, and in it all the gear of a world that took over life. Biopower and biopotency, two forces expressed in the abstract machine, the result of Deleuze's reading of Foucault's diagram of forces. Current points are addressed in terms of medicine and they all converge on the same point: the infinite possibilities of invention facing a conception of the body's power, when this is understood, beyond its spatial limit, in its context of relations in a biopolitics that no longer supports being shut up.
