Abstract

This article, through qualitative bibliographic research, seeks to analyze the multifaceted action of neoliberalism, which, with a view to making its unbridled accumulation agenda effective, reframes reality, institutions and the subjective itself. Initially, the effects of the coronavirus pandemic were investigated through all the imagination that revolves around the idea of crisis. Then, the anti-democratic nature of neoliberalism was analyzed, as well as its facet of subjective management by the market logic. Finally, in the common, as a proposal for radical democracy, a possibility of building an egalitarian and solidary agenda is glimpsed, thus overcoming the values of profit and performance so dear to neoliberalism and to capitalism itself.
