Abstract

The relationship between university and company is discussed as an object of research carried out at the master's level and whose partial results presented here refer to bibliographic and documentary research. The creation, organization and functioning of a Business Council (CESUL), which since 2015 has been operating in the mesoregion of Varginha, state of Minas Gerais, is described. The Council's experience represents the feasibility of interaction and collaboration between higher education institutions (HEIs), companies and the government, treated here according to the model called the Triple Helix.
