This article deals with a brief analysis of the television media and its share of responsibility in selective political persecution. This article was elaborated based on a previous research called "National Journal a Case of Love with the Power: Study of Adherence and Resistance to the Ideology of the Globo Group in a City of the Interior of the State of São Paulo", by the same authors. In this more extensive research, some reports of the National Journal were analyzed, such as the Jornal Nacional reports on the substance phosphoethanolamine, and the journalistic articles of this newsreel in relation to the former presidents Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Dilma Vana Rousseff, we conclude by a certain partiality of the National Journal, either to defend interests of major advertisers (pharmaceutical corporations in the case of the reports on phosphoethanolamine), or in the selective political persecution against politicians of the Workers' Party. In addition, according to the data and interviews cited in the bullet of this article (from the analysis of 300 questionnaires applied in 06 districts of the city of Araraquara / SP), we reach nonterminating conclusions, since we notice that there is a dialectical process: hegemonic issue versus submission / resistance of the population.
