Smart and creative cities and territorial smartification

This paper is about smart cities and territories in line with a preliminary approach and it follows seven main topics. The first one concerns the transborder and transdisciplinar nature of the matter. The second is about the myths and urban planning trends in the digital era. The third topic concerns de data problem, the big data and the open data policy. The forth topic is about urban factors which lead to the creative city. The fifth topic deals with the territorial smartification beyond the city limits. The sixth topic concerns the digital fracture and the networking connectivity. The seventh topic deals with the territorial utotian of the smart and creative cities. Finnaly, we underline some red lines concerning the territorial and digital challenges of the smart cities and their environment. Briefly, the main goal is a more sustainable, inclusive, democratic, smart and creative city based on new ways of regulation and governance.
