The institucional speach of public agencies of rural extension

The research presents an exploratory analysis of the institutional discourses of the public service of technical assistance and rural extension (Ater) in Brazil from information available on institutional websites of this public entities and in the light of the National Technical Assistance Policy and Rural Extension (PNATER) from 2010. As methodological resources were used procedures of content analysis and discourse analysis which allowed to identify coherences and inconsistencies among the items examined, and those with current national policy. It was evidenced purposeful and sharp seek tuning of organizational communication of these entities with the text of the law of PNATER. It was detected, finally, from the survey and literature discussion on the subject of PNATER, the existence of disputes about different views on sustainable rural development in Brazil.
