THE inclusion and retention of the disabled person in organizations

The objective of this research was to verify and analyze the procedures of the recruiters of the organizations for the effective compliance with the Law of Quotas, as well as strategies for advertising, recruiting and selection of professionals with disabilities, and the difficulties found in this process. The present article was carried out in the city of Maringá-PR and region, with 26 companies from several branches of activity and with more than 100 employees. This research consisted of a quantitative descriptive study, carried out from October to November 2017. The instrument used in the research was a questionnaire with 11 items that addressed the forms of advertisement, recruitment, selection and retention of PCD professionals as well as difficulties found. Through the analysis of the results obtained, the vast majority of companies that currently need to have P & D professionals in their staff, have encountered difficulties in complying with the legislation due to the lack of these qualified professionals in the labor market, as well as the lack of adaptation of the the company culture.
